Thank you to all of the contestants, judges, and volunteers who participated in the Blue Ribbon Contests at the Country Fair on Saturday, September 22.
A total of 40 contestants brought a great degree of pride and enthusiasm to growing tomatoes, sunflowers, and container gardens and preparing jams and jellies, quickbreads, corn dishes, and chocolate chip cookies. Lexingtonians young and old infused their entries with incredible celebratory spirit.

The garden entries were evaluated by leading green thumbs Charlie Radoslovich, Don Kozak, Carla Fortmann, and Sara Feldman.
