Coordinating Events
These events are being run by private organizations and feature the 300th Anniversary as part of the program or theme. A fee may be charged by these organizations and proceeds from these events are used by private organizations for their own benefit.
In December, two town organizations pay homage to Lexington’s tercentennial. First, on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m.,
the William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps will present, “A Winter Concert: Music through the Centuries,” at Cary Hall.
This holiday concert features four musical groups that celebrate to our town’s tercentennial and history through music. Enjoy diverse musical styles, including fife and drum, colonial, Irish, Basel Swiss festival, and the steel drum. For more information please visit www.williamdiamondjrs.org.
On Sunday, December 16th, celebrate our town and the holidays with the Lexington Chorale Holiday Concert held at Brookhaven. The Lexington Chorale, comprised of over 60 Brookhaven voices, will perform music that is sure to delight all. On January 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m., experience the Lexington Pops Chorus Winter Concert. Held at Hancock Church, this celebrated chorus will honor Lexington’s 300th Anniversary with the world premiere of Gwyneth Walker’s The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.
