Citizens of the Tricorne Hat

Tricorne hats are everywhere this time of year, but what is the significance of this iconic Lexington fashion accessory? That’s what Lexington High School sophomores Simon Rubenstein and Donny Fox set out to explore in their short film “Citizens of the Tricorne Hat.”

The impetus for the three-minute video was an assignment from LHS teacher Mary Pappas, who, in collaboration with the 300th Anniversary Celebration Committee, asked students in her television production class to produce videos highlighting cultural aspects of Lexington.

After you press play on the video, move your cursor to the lower right hand icon
to change to a full size screen.
